Moyale Member of the Parliament Roba Duba and Golicha Duba has county representative been charged in a Nairobi Magistrate court.

It’s alleged that, on 29 November along Marsabit road uttered words that were intended to cause violence between Borana, Gabra and Burji communities by inciting Borana youth to loot goods from a lorry.

They appeared before a Nairobi Senior Principal Magistrate Lucy Mbugua where they were released on a cash bill of 100,000 each. And the matter to be heard on 27 January 2014

The clashes between the two communities that have claimed hundreds of lives and property destroyed have displaced over 32,000 people according to the Kenya Red Cross which has been conducting humanitarian activities in the area.

The clashes between the two communities have been paralyzing the education in the area. The government issued a warning to deal with anyone one inciting the people to violence in the country. Other area that has experienced such problem is Pokot where the government has taken control.
