HIGH COURT STOPS THE PROSECUTION OF KAJIADO DEPUTY LAND REGISTRAR.

High court has stopped the prosecution of deputy land registrar from Kajiado County, pending the hearing and determination of application filed by Jonathan Koskei.

  Justice Isaac Lenaola said until the petition before is heard and determined Mr Koskei should not be charged or investigated by any security agent.
  The court’s orders were directed to the Principal Magistrate Mavoko laws courts, the inspector general of police, and the director of public prosecution.
The applicant through his lawyer Ismael Nyaribo told the that he is expected to appear in court tomorrow for plea taking, saying that police did conduct proper investigation for allegation of fraud  The allegation against the application centers on Land issue in which the applicant told the court he has not been informed before the criminal charges were leveled against him,  the matter  will for inter  parties hearing on 28 March 2014
