Former Gatundu North Member of Parliament Patrick Muiruri has been ordered to undergo a DNA test to establish the parenthood of a child he sired with a woman.
High Court Judge Isaac Lenaola gave Muiruri fourteen days to avail himself for testing at the government chemist.
Jocye Wanjiku had moved to court seeking orders to compel Muiruri to support a child they have sired together. She had instituted the proceedings seeking orders for maintenance and welfare of baby.
However, the former legislator has maintained he is not the biological father of the child and no evidence had been tendered to establish a case by Wanjiku.
The judge directed his decision be taken to the presiding court to confirm compliance of the orders of the court.
