High Court judge George Odunga barred Inspector General of Police David Kimayo and Director of Criminal Investigation Ndegwa Muhoro from apprehending Cytonn Investment Management Limited employees until the matter is heard and determined.

A Nairobi court has blocked the arresting and possible prosecution of former managers of British American investment company over the alleged transfer of more than sh 3.9 billion from the company.
High Court judge George Odunga barred Inspector General of Police David Kimayo and Director of Criminal Investigation Ndegwa Muhoro from apprehending Cytonn Investment Management Limited employees until the matter is heard and determined.
Judge Odunga also directed Kimayo and Ndegwa to return the cellphones of Edward Harold Dayan,Elizabeth Nkukuu, Patricia Njeri Wanyama and Shiv Arora which were confiscated.
The former employees of British America Asset Manger Limited (BAAM) a subsidiary of British American Investment Company says the cash bond was refunded by police indicating they might be rearrested.
The applicants through their lawyer Julius kemboI told the court that police have been harassing his client over the alleged loss of Sh 3.9 billion which is subject matter.
