Terror suspect Ahmed Hassan Mursal who is a Businessman and a senior personality in madera county suspected to be among the kingpins of Garrisa university massacre and alleged has direct link to the key suspect Mohamed kuno at Milimani law courts on April 21, 2015.


The court has ordered the second Muslim cleric to held for 30 days in custody to allow police conduct their investigation into the  Garissa attack on April 2.

Resident magistrate Edda Agade allowed the application by the prosecution on grounds that the suspect Ahmed Haasan Mursal was arrested on April 17.

State prosecutor Duncan Ondimu, told that investigation will extend to Somalia where the investigators believe the accused has been communicating to Ali shabaab group.

He told the court that, the cleric from the preliminary investigations indicates that he he been support youth pro grammes in Northern part of Mandera County.
The suspect was nabbed on April 17 in Mandera County and flown to Anti Terrorism Police Unit in Nairobi on April 20and police has sought time to carry out their investigation to the alleged attack on students at  Garisaa university college where 147 of them were tributary  killed.

The court that the Mr Mursal is listed in the Kenya gazette notice as suspects associated with Ali Shabaab and linked to Mohamed Kuno alias Shelkh Mohamed /Dulydin/Garmadhen the Ali Shabaab leader of Juba in Somalia who said to have planned the attack on Garissa University College.

While seeking enlargement of time to have the suspect (Mjursal) in custody for a period of 30 days, the prosecution said that they need to time look at his financial records at Central Bank and his communication from Safari-com.
